It all started with an American girl, transplanted to Saudi Arabia, with a severe case of homesickness and hiraeth⁠— and a perpetual love for snacks (the snack life chose her). The vast array of imported snacks and cereals were a slice of home, which I shared with my American expat friends lamenting the absence of American goods in Europe. Thus Snacking in Saudi was born.
