NEW & Limited Edition: KitKat Arabia 90th Saudi National Day
Just three more days till the 23rd of September! In other words, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia commemorates 90 years of unity under one king 👑, one flag, and one faith 🕋; and the renaming of the kingdoms of Hejaz and Nejd to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

KitKat Arabia has released many special edition wrappers over the past decade for the UAE, Saudi, and Kuwaiti National Days. But this time they opted for a specially designed box containing 16 KitKat minis without Saudi-themed wrappers.

I love all the details on the box, from the traditional sedu pattern along the top edge to the major landmarks in Riyadh, Makkah, Medinah, Jeddah, Dhahran, Khobar, Al-Ula, and the 'Asir region.

The design also highlights the many achievements and aspirations Saudi has reached this year. One very thoughtful design feature worth noting is the absence of the Shahadah (Islamic testimony of faith) on the Saudi flag, so as to respect the name of Allah and avoid any form of humiliation towards it whether by way of disposal of the box or being in dirty places.

The new boxes are available nationwide in major supermarkets like Lulu, Tamimi Markets, Panda, Danube, and others. Even though they're limited edition, they'll most likely stick around for at least a few months.
