NEW Snickers Kesar Pista (Saffron Pistachio) launches in India
New Snickers Kesar Pista (Saffron Pistachio) chocolate bars launch in India! These are made with saffron, pistachios, and almonds in nougat for a somewhat nutritious Snickers bar.
I posted a couple images of a Pistachio Snickers last month as my Food Wish, which was photoshopped and not real. They depicted a Snickers bar with pistachio nuts and another with pistachio creme, and immediately made the rounds on Instagram by multiple accounts including shop owners (who didn’t bother to read the caption). This Snickers bar, while it contains pistachios, is nothing like the bar in those fake images, so don’t be fooled!
Saffron and pistachio are very traditional flavors in much of the Gulf (Arabian peninsula) as well as Persian cuisines, so I’m really surprised to see this launch in India and I hope we see it in the Gulf market one day.
